Raku Faces

Raku faces are striking. I always get positive comments when I wear one - and you will too! Strangers buy them off my neck when I tell them they are for sale. I have had regular orders for raku faces and pendants as bride gifts to bridesmaids and business office gifts for the holidays.

Starting with my sculpted face center (1.5" diameter) I add clay adornments. The faces are then air dried, bisque fired, hand glazed, then raku fired. The pieces are then scrubbed clean and enhanced. With the vast number of variables no two raku faces are ever the same.

They come with a screw or magnetic choker wire 16" or 18". The pinch bales are big enough to hang from most other necklaces you may have. If not, they can be opened with a needle nosed pliers and pinched again. I usually have 25 to 35 raku faces available. Below are examples.
